Where can I buy tickets to use the summer lifts?
You can get tickets for the summer lifts from in Portis Sportshop.
How long does the summer season run?
The summer season basically runs from the end of May to the start of October. Up-to-date information is available here.
FAQ BIKE
Do I need to bring my own mountain bike with me, or can I rent one?
Both are possible. You can use your own mountain bike or E-mountain bike on tours, or rent a mountain bike or E-mountain bike from Portis Sportshop. You can find all prices and further information here. We recommend you reserve in advance.
Can I rent an E-mountain bike?
Yes, we have E-mountain bikes as well as bikes without electric support.
Can I also rent children's bikes?
Yes, We have had children's fullys, hardtail bikes and E-mountain bikes for hire since summer 2019,
Where can I charge my own E-bike?
At Portis Sportshop and café at the Dienten Ski Centre there is a charging point you can use.
How difficult are the biking routes?
Our trained staff can advise you in detail, and work with you in choosing the best route. Being able to ride on gravel forest tracks both uphill and downhill are basic requirements for all tour participants.
Is there somewhere I can wash my bike after a tour?
Yes, there is a bike washing point at the Dienten Ski Centre, available free of charge for our customers and guests to use.
FAQ HIKING
How long are the tours, and how fit do I need to be for a hiking tour?
Our experienced staff can advise you, and will work with you in choosing the best possible route.
Can I hire hiking equipment?
Yes. Hiking backpacks and hiking sticks can be rented from Portis Sportshop. However, we do not offer rental hiking boots.
Is it possible to book a guide for a tour for the whole family, or with friends?
Yes, it is possible to register a group of up to 12 people.
What do I need to go on a hike? What should I put my backpack?
A well-packed hiking backpack should include the following: a change of clothing to avoid excess cooling after sweating, a rain jacket, a snack and sufficient drinking water, sun protection (both sun cream and a hat or head covering). We recommend chatting with our guide in advance about the tour and the equipment you need to bring.
